What does progesterone do for peri menopause?

Progesterone plays an important role in balancing out the effects of high or low estrogen. If you have too much estrogen or not enough estrogen, your body gets thrown out of balance. That’s why hormone balance between the two hormones is the desired effect to feel good, have more energy, and a clear mind. There are over 200 symptoms. Women can suffer that are physical, mental and emotional. Since progesterone works physically, emotionally, and mentally, besides being important for your pregnancy and menstrual cycle. Some women may experience a side effect such as a calming effect. A lower level of the hormone may add to increasing anxiety and insomnia your ability or mood swings.
