Dear Friends,

The ten years, I developed a weight problem. I noticed that my body changed!. It seems as if everything fell down. MY hips felt like they were going the size of Texas.   I started to discuss it with a friend and she had the same problem.

I went to doctors. From my gyn to my internist, the answers were all the same. Aging. Stress and Lack of exercise.

I researched and discovered the Paleo Diet. I wanted a diet that I can eat real food, not count calories or count carbs.

I just wanted to eat healthy and get resutls.

There are paterns for just about everything in this world. I see patterns in weather streams that relate back to life.  The weather seems to be moving into or out of a weather pattern each 6 weeks.  How that relates to your life is in creating a new pattern or habit or learning anything new. Even if you start a new diet. If you do something everyday for 6 weeks, you wiil create a new daily habit and it takes 6 weeks to see results. Most people give up without waiting for 6 weeks. The mindset things about every day for the rest of your life.

Great news. Dr Jerilyn Prior is an expert on women's hormones health,  She studies women’s menstrual cycles, perimenopause and the causes for and treatment of osteoporosis. She has researched the use of the ovarian hormone progesterone for treatment of menstrual flow problems, hot flushes and low bone density. Her work showes that estrogen levels, besides being unpredictable, are significantly higher than normal in the perimenopause, the 3 to 10 years of changes before menopause. Her research has also shown an increase bone formation using progesterone.
